DESIGNER EXPERIENCE SR

Honeywell
United States
August 2015 – Present
As part of Honeywell’s User Experience (HUE) team, I’ve been engaged on a variety of tasks revolving around their connected home offering, Lyric. From purely a design perspective, I’ve offered end-to-end solutions, including: sketches/concepts, wireframing, visual design, development specifications, prototyping, animation and asset generation for multiple operating systems and devices. On a strategic front, I’ve interfaced with teams across the globe, using collaborative tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Dropbox and Lync. As a team we’ve established file-naming conventions and storage formats/structures, while I personally defined a standard application for design and created supporting files to accompany it. While my primary focus has been user experience/user interface, I’ve also designed emails, web pages and presentations while at Honeywell.

Various

I’ve been engaged on a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: branding, UI/UX (mobile, web, responsive), pitch decks, direct marketing, promotional vehicle wraps, infographics, custom icons/illustration and more. Recently my primary focus has been helping clients with products in-market overhaul their user interfaces and experiences to be more intuitive and standardized.

I worked on a team with 2 other designers; a creative director predominantly in charge of print collateral and an interactive director who primarily worked on the web sites. Rêv has it’s hands in a variety of markets, including but not limited to: banking, mobile applications, mobile payments, funding start-ups and non-profit ventures.

My role as art director also included tasks that supported the web team, creating online advertising campaigns, mocking up websites and making email templates. Pieces developed in-house were completed in multiple languages and were laid out in both Spanish and English at a minimum. Strategic partners included Money Box, ACE Cash Express, HEB and Randall’s.

The three of us produced one bi-monthly publication, three monthly publications, and two upscale lifestyle magazines that went to press every other month. We were personally responsible for flight-checking our own sections, as well as aiding the editors in making corrections and changes to the copy after the text had been flowed.
